What We Do
Buyer-Only Representation
Most aviation brokers are paid by the seller. That means the moment you engage them, their financial interest is in closing the transaction — not in protecting you from a bad deal, an overpriced aircraft, or a poorly scoped pre-purchase inspection.
Private Jet Consultants works exclusively for buyers. We are retained on a fixed-fee basis and earn nothing from sellers, brokers, or completion centres. Our only obligation is to find you the right aircraft at the right price, with the right documentation and programmes in place.
Our principals have completed aircraft acquisition transactions for clients across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia — covering the full Gulfstream G-series, Bombardier Challenger and Global platforms, and the Cessna Citation family from light jets to the Longitude.
Our Process
From Search to Closing
Mission Profile & Brief
We define your mission requirements — route structure, passenger count, range, runway limitations, budget ceiling, and operational preferences — before beginning any market search. This prevents wasted time on aircraft that cannot meet your actual needs.
Market Search & Screening
We search the full market — listed and off-market — and apply an initial technical screen to each candidate. Engine programme status, avionics compliance, records completeness, and maintenance event proximity are evaluated before any aircraft proceeds to pre-purchase inspection.
Pre-Purchase Inspection
We develop the inspection scope, select the MRO facility, review maintenance records independently, and attend the inspection in person. Our findings directly inform the purchase price negotiation — squawks are not surprises, they are leverage.
Negotiation & Closing
We represent your interests in price negotiation, squawk resolution, and final documentation review. For international transactions, our FAA DAR-T appointment allows us to handle export airworthiness certification — removing intermediary delays and cost.
